FLEX documents checklist for your application

FLEX essays get attention, but incomplete FLEX paperwork stops applications quietly. Use this checklist while you prepare for FLEX selection; always download the official FLEX document list from your national office.

School records

Recent transcripts or grade reports, often with a school stamp or signature. Request copies early; offices need time during exam periods.

If your grades improved, a short note from a counselor can explain the trend. Do not hide dips without context.

Recommendations

Teachers who know you in class or activities work best. Give them deadlines two to three weeks before the real due date.

Provide a bullet list of your activities and goals so writers mention specific examples, not generic praise.

Medical and consent forms

Vaccination records, allergy information, and program medical forms. Book clinic visits early; appointments can take weeks.

Parent or guardian consent is mandatory for minors. Both parents may need to sign depending on local law.

Identity and photos

Passport or national ID copies, birth certificate if required, and passport-style photos that match size rules on the form.

Scan everything in one folder with clear file names (LastName_Transcript_2026.pdf).

Digital hygiene

Use official upload portals only. Never share full applications in public chats; Communities are for advice, not posting private PDFs.
